Coverpath supports third party payor who can be a person who is neither the owner, nor the insured (i.e. a grandparent, employer).
The Payment section on the application will need to be completed for it is submitted. If you the advisor or client decides to select "no, skip for now" you will receive the error message below. (Advisor Best Practice: if the payor is an employer or entity, the advisor can gather banking information and enter the information in on the client's behalf)
NOTE: After the application has been submitted and esigned by the owner, a support team member will reach out to the payor to verify the payment information entered and to request an esignature via DocuSign. The application will then be proceed to the next steps.
